Morning opening prayer for 1/23/2010 ICM Board Retreat

Great is Your power, O Awakener, and endless Your love. The dawn of each new day tells of Your glory, and children are a song of Your love.
You have taught us to uphold the falling, to heal the sick, to free the captive, to comfort all who
suffer pain.
In sickness and in health, in life and in death, You are with us. Blessed is the Imageless, Creator of life.
Hear now our prayer for our children who cannot see a doctor when they are sick and in need of healing,who suffer pain unrelieved by health care they and their families cannot access.
Hear now our prayer for our children who may misbehave and then find themselves in an adult criminal justice system that is unprepared to wisely address their tender years.
Hear now our prayer for our children who are victims of exploitation and who desperately need and deserve a future.
Hear now our prayer for our children whose parents can't or won't provide necessary love and stability.
Hear now our prayer for our children who live with disabilities and need resources they cannot find.
O Sovereign and Architect of the World, bless the Interfaith Children's Movement and this its Board of Directors, and strengthen us to use our hearts and hands, voices and vision to advocate to improve the well-being of our children.
