Day at the Capitol… This is the day when the Interfailth Children’s Movement gathers members and friends at the state capitol to talk one-on-one with legislators about pending legislation that affects children and families.
Meet at 1:00 p.m. at a location to be announced soon, where’ll you get an update on bills that are moving thru the legislature. Then we’ll tell you where your voice can be most effective, teach you “the ropes” and escort you across the street to the Capitol where you’ll be able to have a brief meeting with your legislator.
This is a day where both youth (11 - 21) and adults participate in the legislative process!
It’s fun! Not intimidating! And it makes a difference for children
